Monthly maintenance

Check the air resistance value of air filter
Check the genset and confirm whether there are unusual vibration, excessive exhaust, leakage of noise, coolant and fuel. The engine component will be lubricated by regular test running to enhance the reliability of starting. Preventing Oxidization of connection terminal should be prevented. Avoiding the fuel degeneration. 2tines Running for 10-15 minutes at no load everymonth. 
Check whether there is leakage or connnection looseness. 
Check the fuel  level and condition of transit pump.
Check whether there is leakage or over-resist in exhaust system, discharge the condensation liquid.
Check battery connecting condition, charge the battery when the specific gravity is lower than 1.26.
Check the vent resistance of air inlet, check whether the maintenance kit are prepared.

Semi-annual maintenance

Check the lub. oil  and bypass filter

Clean or replace ventilation filter of crankcase
Discharge sediment of fuel tank, check whether there is any damage on fuel pipe electric control and alarm system
Clean the grease, lube, dust and sediment on generating set
Check the contact of power transmission cable, breaker and switch.
Check the start function and performance with rated load by emulate the mains power outage, check the ATS and related configuration.

Annual maintenance

Checking fan in radiator, belt wheel and pump.

Tighten fastening.
Clean the output and control box, check and fasten all the wire connection, measure and record the insulation resistance, check the heater in alternator.
Manual operating to check the main circuit breaker, verifying the auto trip function according to the manual of manufacturer.
The Genset should be run for 4 hours under 5% loading a year at least if the generating set is usually running under no-load or light-load. 
Insulation condition should be checked if the machine room had been flooded or too wet. Preliminary testing  should be carried out before finally load testing, and take it as benchmark for routine testing.
For standby generating set, it should be maintained thorough for one time annual, including the replacement of lub. oil, lube filter, coolant filter, fuel filter, air filter etc.
